Sebastian Weirsøe Flamant — Copenhagen
I've spent twenty years running digital sales and marketing, building digital products and teams — at Trustpilot, Kahoot!, Organic Basics, Telenor and others. On the side: Half-French, cand.mag. in Danish, 100+ comic books translated. Now also building my own things through Flamant Studio and having tons of fun.
52 years old, married to Stine, three kids, one dog, one cat. Living in Brønshøj, Copenhagen.
In both my professional and personal life I try to live by principles suchs as strength, integrity, compassion and quality. I particularly enjoy working on website design and ongoing digital management — I find real satisfaction in clear usability, great communication and results you can actually measure. I enjoy making pretty things that matter.
Lately I've been deep in AI — and I've found genuine new inspiration through it. I'm currently running on Claude as my primary tool and working on a number of AI-powered projects, including building my own product studio from scratch. At Organic Basics I leverage Claude for project management and ecommerce more specifically.

Have a project or question? I'm based in Copenhagen and work in Danish, English and French.
Get in touchTwenty years in digital commerce — running teams, owning roadmaps, caring obsessively about conversion. Currently Head of Ecommerce at Organic Basics. Previously Global Digital Director at Trustpilot and Kahoot!. I've done the hard miles.
Currently building Personal Shopper — a taste-driven shopping board for Europe with no ads, ever. I design, spec and ship from scratch, with AI agents doing the heavy lifting. This is what evenings and weekends look like when you're slightly obsessed.
Helping leadership and digital teams get the fundamentals right — strategy, structure, prioritisation, roadmapping. I've worked across telco, audio, SaaS and fashion at director level. Sometimes the most valuable thing is a fresh pair of eyes and someone who'll tell you what's actually going on.
French → Danish translation for Forlaget Zoom since 2014. Over 100 titles and counting — Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées ranging from detective noir to sci-fi to old-school adventure. Being half-French with a cand.mag. in Danish turns out to be a fairly specific skill set.
Started as a website manager in 2003. Ended up as global digital director at a London-listed company. The through-line is always the same: good work, good people, making things that actually matter.

I'm half-French and hold a cand.mag. in Danish — which turns out to be a fairly specific skill set. Since 2014 I've translated Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées for Forlaget Zoom, Denmark's leading comics publisher. The work covers detective noir, sci-fi, classic adventure and everything in between.

All titles published by Forlaget Zoom. Available at Saxo, Bog&Idé, Faraos Cigarer and all major Danish bookshops.
Evenings and weekends. Building in public, thinking out loud, shipping slowly but deliberately.
A taste-driven shopping board for European consumers. No ads, ever. Affiliate-funded, subscription-gated assistant layer. Next.js + Supabase, AI-augmented development.
An iOS app exploring neighbourhood discovery and local connection. React Native. Queued behind Personal Shopper.
A novel. Written under the pen name Mara Ellis. Literary fiction. Slow going, intentionally.
Painting miniatures, slinging Magic cards and overheating the PS5. The important work.
Portfolio website for my wife Stine's art. She paints. I build websites. It works out.
It's a secret.
Flamant Studio goes live. Built with Claude as co-pilot — design, code, copy, deployment. Evenings and weekends.

Won the audience award for best scenario at Viking-Con for Forhøret. First of many sleepless nights writing RPG scenarios.
Before Trustpilot, Kahoot! and Organic Basics — there was flamant.dk. Built by hand in Copenhagen, in Dreamweaver, on a dial-up connection. Twenty years of web in five screenshots.
The original flamant.dk. Written in the third person. Tracked monthly statistics including cola intake (13.5 litres), toilet seat incidents (149.2/month) and satisfaction rating (78%). Navigation via five icon categories. Absolutely unhinged.
The Schtroumpf section referenced ominously on the front page ('jeg advarer mod stærke indtryk'). A superhero splash page for an alter ego. Comic-book movie poster aesthetic, Comics Code seal, 50¢ price tag. 'Now in Dolby Maxi-Color.'
The redesign that retired the kedelige mand. 'Desværre var det også ret kedeligt at skrive tekster til siden, for i virkeligheden er jeg ikke specielt umorsom.' B&W photo, Times New Roman. Signed off: 'Og tak fordi De ikke gøgler.'
The professional pivot. Personal chaos gives way to a clean services site. David Harder's flamingo illustration appears for the first time — the same character who lives on today's site.
'FLAMANT Tekst v. Sebastian Weirsøe Flamant: oversætter, teksttosse, websitesnedker, dansk-fransk ninja, projektleder, nørd og good guy siden 2010 (ninja dog siden 1973).'
